Sluggish at Work? – Re-energize with the Hostyle Express Lunch Workout
Take a second to think.
You’re busy at work, focusing on what you need to get done before you can head out for lunch. After stepping back in the office from your lunch, you start to feel tired then all of a sudden you crash!
You’re sluggish and counting down the minutes until you’re finally done for the day, but now imagine escaping that crash and having more energy in the late afternoon. Which in return leaves yourself feeling refreshed; leading to a more productive day at work.
Trust me when I say that you will benefit from having a clear mind state when you step back into the office after your lunch hour and that your going back to work being able to properly focus for the rest of your day is just what you need and our Lunch hour express class will do just that!!
At Hostyle, we believe it’s not only important to workout daily, but to have fun in doing so! Training in a group setting is motivating and fun as every workout is different. Our Lunch Hour Express class, is great because it includes a mobility base warm up, amazing workout, and cool down, all done within 40 mins.
It’s nice and quick so that you can make it back to work in time, and even better is that you can get your “dreadful” workout done in the best way possible.
Focuses of the session:
The Lunch Hour Express workout is all about your mobility, flexibility, stability, strength, and conditioning. All these areas need constant work and improvement and that is why they are our main focuses.
Mobility is a great thing to have so we can move properly and have correct form on the exercises (especially important for those who have a desk job), flexibility is important, so that we can move with a proper range of motion in our joints and prevent injury.
Stability is a must to improve posture, balance and core, strength to improve overall physic, bone density, and last but certainly not least – conditioning, to increase lunge capacity to become fitter and tougher. We here at Hostyle like to mix it up all the time and try new stuff, because it really is amazing what you can achieve if you just try.
To kick off the Lunch Hour Express class, there will be a class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon. These sessions will kick off at 12:05 pm and will run through until 12:45 pm. If you are not in a rush to get back to work, I will be hanging around giving additional assistance with certain exercises and/or mobility drills until 1pm. This class is a slightly shortened one at 40 mins yet only due to the simple demand of people leaving to go back to work afterwards, but you are always more than welcome to stay for the full hour!
Facility and Showers:
Hostyle Conditioning is an 8,000 square foot private gym all with change rooms, lockers, and male and female showers. This is always a big hit because it means that you can come on your lunch hour, sweat it out and shower going back to work energized and refreshed all under an hour!
Our gym is different in every aspect and here’s why, we have training tools that force the full body to do the movement for example kettlebells, barbells, free weights, tires, ropes, chains, etc. Here, you won’t find a bunch of machines that are made for everyone.
We believe in training our clients to become the machines, starting everyone slow and building their base and progressing them into athletes. In every workout we incorporate the full gym so no more waiting for those machines, you are the machine!

We promise you will feel awesome going back into work, yet, try not to focus too much on how your slow sluggish afternoons are turning into productive, energy filled afternoons, just like that. It’s tough to stay on track of things when you have been cooped up in the office for too long! So, what are you waiting for?
